Now the iteration 2 of the machine mechanics generating shadow is completed here are the results. There was also a change of the number of objects from 49 to 31 to create some more space for each shadow. Since the proportion are a bit different, and for complexity each shadow object is made in three version. One for the inner ring, one for the mid and one for the out one.

 

Below there is a modo mpath rendered animation that was made to look at the heights and överlaps that objects with the height of 50mm, 70mm, and 90mm cast on the disc, objects and the six light sources are rotating

In parallel I also tried it the physical model and it is shown in the images below. Here I worked with object from 10mm to 90mm. This experiment pointed that no object should be less than 30mm on the inner ring
